IE Doctoral Student’s Paper Selected as Finalist for the QSR Best Paper Competition in INFORMS 2015

After a thorough review of all the high-quality papers submitted to the first QSR (Quality, Statistics and Reliability) refereed track best paper competition, the paper “Markov Additive Processes for Degradation with Jumps under Dynamic Environments” by our doctoral student Yin Shu, and his advisor, Dr. Qianmei Feng, was shortlisted and presented as one of the three finalists at the INFORMS Annual meeting in Philadelphia 2015. The other two finalists are from Choe and Byon (University of Michigan), and Paynabar, Yan and Shi (Georgia Institute of Technology). The paper will also be eligible to be published in a leading journal in the field of Quality and Reliability.
