Abstract: The pitch itself would describe the Battle of the Classes event, logistics about the competition itself, what students would be competing for, what the requirements are, what the pitch should contain and what the judging criteria is. 

Biography: Kelly McCormick is a Professor of Practice and Program Director at the Bauer College of Business at the University of Houston. Kelly's work focuses on helping students and faculty members at University of Houston launch startups. She teaches startup-focused classes, including Intro to Technology Entrepreneurship, Women in Entrepreneurship and Design Practice and Business. She also runs the UH startup accelerator, RED Labs, and is the Program Director for the National Science Foundation Innovation Corps Program. Kelly has a B.S. in Business-Finance from Miami University in Ohio, and a law degree from Tulane Law School.
