Abstract

This talk will present an overview of research funding opportunities at NSF of interest to researchers in the industrial engineering and operations research community.  The talk will discuss core programs as well as special solicitations that support related work, along with information on the review process and tips for writing competitive proposals

Biography

Georgia-Ann Klutke is a program director at NSF and has managed the Operations Engineering program since 2016.  She also participates in the Smart Health and Disrupting Operations of Illicit Supply Networks solicitations.  Before joining NSF, she had a long career in academia, serving on the faculties of the University of Massachusetts, the University of Texas at Austin, and Texas A&M University.  Her research contributions are in the area of applied probability, with emphasis on productions operations and reliability and maintenance.
