Abstract

Hewlett Packard Enterprise (HPE) is a technology company that recognizes the importance of minimizing its industry's environmental footprint and enabling a low-carbon economy. In this session, HPE will present its sustainability and environmental goals, which are science-based, ambitious, and transformative. We describe how HPE is reducing its greenhouse gas emissions across its value chain, innovating low-carbon technology solutions for its customers, and supporting policies and coalitions to accelerate clean energy markets. We also highlight some of the achievements and challenges that HPE has faced in pursuing its sustainability and environmental goals.  

Biography

Joining HPE in 2021, Ellie Lundberg is the Vice President of the Global Logistics organization. In her role, she is responsible for logistics strategy, procurement, and partner management, inbound and outbound shipping, warehousing, customs and compliance, freight pay and audit, and logistics digitalization. Prior to HPE, Ellie was the Senior Director, Transportation, Logistics & Global Trade Compliance at The Toro Company, supervising the planning, contracting, and execution of all transportation and distribution operations. She has also held a number of senior-level logistics management roles at companies in various industries including Select Comfort, Valspar, Tennant, and Whirlpool. Ellie holds Bachelor of Arts in Marketing and Masters in Business Administration degree from Marymount University. She currently resides in Houston, Texas.

Joining HPE in July 2023, Aditi Joshi is the Director of Sustainability for the Global Operations organization. In her role, she is responsible for strategy, planning and execution of the environmental, zero-carbon roadmap, carbon emissions data measurement digitalization and tracking across global operations which includes logistics, procurement, manufacturing, assembly, packaging, and wider sustainable product development across HPE. Prior to HPE, Aditi was the Sustainability Program Lead, Global Design, Construction and Transportation at Amazon. Prior to Amazon, she worked as the Principal Engineer for Sustainability at Amgen. She previously worked in sustainability and strategy consulting roles serving clients across large scale industrial, manufacturing, commercial sector at CLEAResult Consulting and Husky. Aditi holds a BS in Mechanical Engineering and an MS in Mechanical and Environmental Engineering degree, both from the University of Toronto. She received a Certificate in Sustainable Business Strategy from Harvard Business School. She is a Certified Energy Manager (CEM), Certified Measurement and Verification Professional (CMVP), Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED) Associate, Certified Energy Auditor (CEA), Certified associate in project management (CAPM) and a licensed Professional Engineer (PEng). She is especially passionate about corporate strategy and the 6Ps (purpose, product, process, planet, profit, people) in organizational sustained success. She currently resides in Orange County, California.
